„To me HeimatGenuss is our romantic historic district, Europe's longest, covered wooden bridge, and Scheffel's tale about the trumpeter of Saeckingen.“
Welcome to the heart of the border triangle of Germany, France and Switzerland. Our Ringhotel Goldener Knopf - first mentioned in a document in 1456 - is located directly on the Rhine in the old town of Bad Säckingen. Enjoy the view from our large terrace of the Rhine and the longest covered wooden bridge in Europe. Take a river cruise on the Rhine or visit the nearby cities of Zurich, Basel or Strasbourg. The castle park with its trumpet museum and the baroque St. Fridolin Minster are always worth a visit. The trumpeter tour through the old town is also very popular. Fine, regional cuisine awaits you in the Le Jardin restaurant. You will be pampered with culinary specialties and fine wines from our rich wine cellar, mainly from the Markgräflerland and the Kaiserstuhl. We are happy to make our premises available to you for your conference or celebration. Wedding couples receive an all-round service from us.
