On the occasion of his 75th birthday, the cello virtuoso Mischa Maisky will give a top-class chamber music evening with Janine Jansen and Martha Argerich on 4 July 2023 in the Petruskirche Kiel. He is considered one of the most important cellists of the present day and is known for the emotional intensity of his interpretation.On 24 August, Anne-Sophie Mutter, four-time Grammy Award winner, will perform violin concertos by Johann Sebastian Bach, Francesco Maria Veracini and Joseph Bologne Chevalier de Saint-Georges, as well as André Previn's "Nonet", a composition written especially for the violinist and her ensemble. The Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival also welcomes long-time festival friend Daniel Hope (violin) as a portrait artist in 2023. To show his roots as SHMF portrait artist, the cosmopolitan violinist with Irish-German-South African roots has invited the band "Lúnasa" to the Emkendorf estate for 25 July 2023. Die NordArt findet seit 1999 jährlich im Sommer in Büdelsdorf in Schleswig-Holstein statt.Auf dem Gelände einer ehemaligen Eisengießerei mit 22.000 qm Innenfläche, der Carlshütte mit einzigartiger Kulisse, sowie dem angrenzenden 80.000 qm großen Parkgelände mit weiteren 60.000 m² zeigt die NordArt jedes Jahr Werke von über 200 ausgewählten zeitgenössischen Künstlern aus aller Welt.Das Ausstellungscafé „Alte Meierei“ inmitten der Grünanlage des Skulpturenparks lädt für eine Pause zum Kaffee und zu hausgemachten Kuchen und anderen Speisen ein.Seit 2015 finden auch Konzerte im Rahmen des Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festivals in der Carlshütte, mitten in der NordArt, statt.In der übrigen Zeit Ihres Aufenthaltes entspannen Sie in unserem Birke Spa mit Saunen und Schwimmbad, bevor Sie das feinheimische 4-Gänge HeimatGenuss-Menü im Fischers Fritz Restaurant am zweiten Abend genießen.
